When a child enters the foster care system, they usually only have the clothes on their back and lots of anxiety and uncertainty. The Release Care Closet provides tangible help to children and families involved in the foster, child welfare, and juvenile justice systems. This year, we've provided over 750 children and family members with high-quality clothing, bedding, diapers, and toys—free of charge.

      Who is it For?

      Foster families, volunteers, and more!

The Release Care Closet is primarily for foster youth and foster parents with current placements. We also serve the children of families involved with the foster, child welfare, and juvenile justice systems.

If you’re interested in volunteering, we’re always looking for help sorting donations and serving families during open shopping days. Reach out to Kim for more information.
